Format and Modifications Used in Our Replay

We use the APBA basic baseball game.  We use the old "black and white" boards.  The cards we use are the original 1979 APBA original issue including XBs.  These are the modifications we have implemented (I don't think I've left anything out).

1. Unusual Play Card
2. Error Chart
3. Z-ball two (instead of ball one).  To compensate, we make 14 with runners on first and third ball two as well.
4. Limit 3 hit and run plays per game.
5. We use a defensive error re-roll chart with bases empty to help cut down errors for good fielders. Al "Shorty" Colman came up with this and we modified it.  You can see it here.

As for league set up, we are enacting all trades and call-ups as they happened in 1979.  We are attempting to limit players and pitchers to their actual games, at-bats, and innings when possible.
