I live in Carterville in the southern most part of Illinois. I am a fan of the Orioles and have been since I was a small child. The main reason I am so is because they were once the St. Louis Browns. The outfield of Williams, Tobin, and “oh you Baby Doll” may be one of the best and at the very least the most underrated of all time. I am doing a little research on the trio and would appreciate any personal info. Thanks.

I am glad to hear that there are still family members out there. I am doing research for the closure requirement for my Master’s degree and just found out about Baby Doll Jacobson and his affiliation with Mercer County. I would love the opportunity to discuss his life and career with you further.

Hi, I’m Keith W Jacobson, grandson of Baby Doll Jacobson. Thanks for sharing your story. Even though I was a kid, I got to know my Grandpa “Jake” fairly well before he passed.
