I was over at my buddy Brando’s house and he had displayed one of the strangest piece of baseball memorabilia I’ve ever seen. At first sight it was a rubber ducky… yes, one of those toys you take to the tub. It even squeaked. However, it was painted up as a ballplayer, Omar Vizquel, to be exact. It was produced when he was a Cleveland Indian.
On the back (tail?) was the name “Sugardale”. I assume that was the vendor who was part of the promotion.
Any Cleveland fans, familiar with this souvenir or promotion?
