Mulder initiated the new Busch Stadium in style.  He pitched a fine game and did well hitting too.

Says Mulder of his experience with the stick:

“It was cool,” the 28-year-old left-hander said.

“Going around second, I didn’t really feel anything. I was just trying not to smile or laugh running around the bases, because I wanted to.

“It was a cool experience, but I’m sure there’s probably not a good chance of that happening again this year.”

Cool.
