Running the bases for autism

Tomorrow, Trenton Thunder (AA Yankees) assistant GM Greg Coleman will run the bases 500 times in an effort to raise money for autism research, education and advocacy.

Coleman’s son, Kevin was recently diagnosed with Pervasive Development Disorder (PDD), a form of autism.

Asssuming he’s not too tired, I think they’re going to have him back on again later this week to let them know how it went.

Update: Coleman completed his 500 laps today. He began at 7:;07am and ended at 2:32pm running over 34 miles. No word on how much has been collected so far. My guess is that the donations are still rolling in.
