When Ranger starter John Koronka spotted Detroit 6 runs after only 1 1/3 innings, it didn’t look like Texas had much of a chance. But kudos to Josh Rupe, Joaquin Benoit, Ron Mahay, and Akinori Otsuka who held Detroit scoreless while the offense did their damage to win 7-6.
Benoit got the win, Otsuka got the save.
