7-11 gets a deal for 7:11 at the Cell


Is it me or did the Sox management get fleeced when they agreed to start 50-some night games at 7:11pm to shill for the 7-11 convenience store chain.

$500,000? What a deal for 7-11!

Why we feel we have sell out every facet of the game is beyond me but if you’re going to do it, make it worth your while. Does anyone remember when MLB tried putting ads on the bases a few years ago?

  1. It all started with Wrigley Field!!! Although I’m not in favor of corporate sponsors, my APBA team plays its home games at Crackerjack Park (I got NO MONEY for the naming rites).
