Etch-a-Sketching his way through life

George Vlosich III has taken his boyhood pastime and is trying to make a go of it. He is creating some pieces of art on his Etch-A-Sketch (they’re actually pretty detailed) and selling them.

From the looks of his web site, he is quite the sports fan. He has some cool pictures of Ripken, Ali, Magic Johnson (I think) and a nice collage of Dodgers throughout history.

Vlosich has gotten a fair amount publicity with his artwork meeting a lot of sports personalities and celebrities as well as appearing on few talk shows.

He is selling lithographs of his work or the original Etch-A-Sketch by commission if you’re willing to shell out the bucks ($5000-8000, yikes!).

I could just imagine someone forking over the big bucks for the original and having it shipped to their house. Then his roommate brings in to the house…

“Hey Buddy! You got a package today. Wonder what it is?”
